Amaretto (italian: a little bitter) is an Italian liqueur made from almonds, apricot kernels, vanilla and other spices with a very sweetly taste. Alcohol content is 24 to 28 Vol% (48 to 56 proof). Congeners: Methanole 45 to 218 mg/l, some trade marks include traces of higher alcohols up to 2 mg/l.
Brands: Amaretto Di Saronno, Lazzaroni Amaretto.
