Liver Cirrhosis

A liver cirrhosis is the irreversible nodular transformation of the liver tissue, as a result of local metabolic disorder behind the stage of fatty liver or a strong hepatitis. Dying liver cells are replaced by scare tissue. Cirrhosis often occurs as a result of excessive alcohol consumption as well as chronic hepatitis C.
